WEEKENDER BAG

While leather is a durable and flexible material, full grain leather is not scratch resistant. Over time your bag will develop its own character and patina through everyday use. Superficial scratches & scuffs should come out easily by using a clean cotton cloth in a circular motion. Every few months treat with a natural leather cream to provide protection for the leather, while also helping to keep it soft & supple.

Use our PR Calico storage bag included to protect your bag when not in use and to keep it away from direct sunlight. When away from home, the cotton bag is a practical accessory that can also be used as a laundry bag while you are travelling.

Throw

100% pure Alpaca.

Proper care will add years to the life of your product. Due to its nature, generally very little cleaning is needed as Alpaca fibres have a natural ability to repel away moisture & do not absorb odour or dust, making them resistant to odours or becoming soiled. 'Airing' your blanket by laying it in the sun will refresh it, however limiting the exposure to less than 15 minutes is recommended as the sun can cause the blanket to fade.

Dry cleaning is recommended to preserve the throw. However, hand washing them in warm or cold water with a small amount of woolmark approved detergent is also ok. Gently move the throw whilst submerged to allow the throw to soak up the detergent and leave for a few minutes. Ensure you thoroughly rinse your throw with cold water to remove the detergent and place on a towel over a clothes horse.

Drying them with wind is more important than sun. Do not over-dry as this can make the fibres brittle and harsh. Brush the pile top to bottom to rejuvenate.

Beanie

Made from 30% Cashmere and 70% Merino Wool.

Inherent antibacterial properties of merino wool and cashmere mean they only require occasional cleaning.

Gentle hand wash only in water, use mild wool detergent (there are cashmere specific products on the market) and avoid harsh biological detergents. Submerge in cold water for 5 - 10 minutes. Do not soak. Rinse in cold water. Squeeze excess water, suggest rolling in a towel (do not wring). Lay flat to dry.

Hand washing is gentler and more eco-friendly than dry cleaning.

Store carefully to protect against dust, dampness & moths.

Towel

Wash towel before first use.

To prevent colours from bleeding, wash towel with similar shades in warm water for the first several washes.

Avoid washing your towel with fabric softener. The fabric softener coats the fibres and can reduce your towels' absorbency. A build-up of fabric softener over time will eventually make your towel feel hard and scratchy.

Tumble drying on a low heat setting will preserve your towel fluffiness. Giving it a shake when removing it from the washing machine will help fluff the towel and prevent it from twisting into a ball in the dryer, which unnecessarily extends the drying time. Avoid over drying in the tumble dryer as this can damage the individual fibres integrity.

A more cost effective and eco-friendly approach would be to line dry your towel straight from the washing machine.

Do not iron or dry clean.

Cap

Most superficial marks on your cap can easily be removed with a damp cloth.

If your cap has developed a build-up of sweat and dirt, then we recommend a hand wash.  Fill a clean sink or bucket with lukewarm water.  Avoid using hot water, as it can cause shrinkage and damage to the cap's materials.  Add a small amount of mild detergent. Place the cap in the soapy water and gently agitate it with your hands to loosen any dirt or stains. Avoid scrubbing, as this can damage the cap's fabric and shape. Soak the cap for no more than 15 minutes.  Then rinse in cold or warm water and pat dry with a towel to remove excess water. Avoid wringing or twisting the cap, as this can damage the shape.  Place on a clean towel to air dry or hang it on a line.  Avoid drying in the direct sunlight as it may cause the cap to fade.
